iTOP – the way to become a great oral health professional
Dr Camelia Roman graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the ‘Iuliu Hațieganu’ University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca in 2014. Passionate about prophylaxis, she undertook the iTOP (Individually Trained Oral Prophylaxis) course under the guidance of Prof. Dr Jiří Sedelmayer. Since 2016, she has been an iTOP Lecturer and Teacher and delivers courses and presentations at international events. She is a member of YDW (Young Dentists Worldwide) and OTM (Organisation of Young Doctors), and in 2019 she was a speaker at the National Congress of the Indian Society of Periodontology. The workshop will cover modern concepts regarding biofilm and the importance of prophylaxis in maintaining oral health.
